The Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) is pleased to announce the 3rd Joint ELI Call for Users. Scientists, researchers, engineers and innovators worldwide and across scientific disciplines have the opportunity to propose cutting-edge experiments leveraging the state-of-the-art high-power laser technology at all three ELI Facilities:
- ELI ALPS in Szeged, Hungary
- ELI Beamlines in Dolní Břežany, Czech Republic
- ELI Nuclear Physics in Măgurele, Romania
Proposal Submission Deadline: 16 October 2023; 23:55 CEST
The complete scientific offer is available on the ELI User Portal, including information about the application and review process. Proposers are strongly encouraged to contact the technical experts listed or the ELI User Office [user-office[@]eli-laser.eu] for any queries. Submitted proposals are evaluated by an international panel of experts and access is awarded based on scientific excellence. For more detailed information visit:
SAVE THE DATE: the annual Joint ELI User Meeting is planned as an on-site event at the ELI ALPS Facility (Szeged, Hungary) from 4 – 6 December 2023 to update the scientific community about current and future research opportunities at the ELI Facilities. Further details will be made available shortly.
The Extreme Light Infrastructure is the world’s most advanced laser-based research infrastructure. The ELI Facilities provide access to a broad range of world-class high-power, high-repetition-rate laser systems and secondary sources. This enables cutting-edge research and new regimes of high intensity physics in physical, chemical, medical, and materials sciences.
The Joint User Programme was launched in summer 2022 and includes all three of the ELI Facilities, thanks to a close collaboration between ELI ERIC and ELI NP within the Horizon 2020 funded IMPULSE project.
