Education

The main focus of activities at the ELI Beamlines Facility is the advancement of laser technologies. This encompasses innovations such as novel techniques for growing laser crystals, solutions for cryogenic cooling of high-power, high-repetition-rate laser amplifiers, methods for precise femtosecond synchronization of laser pulses, advanced diagnostics for femtosecond pulse repetition rates, state-of-the-art control systems, and pioneering approaches to petawatt (PW) pulse compressors. A significant portion of this work is conducted in partnership with industry.
