ELI hosted more than twenty scientific ambassadors from around the world

More than twenty scientific ambassadors from various countries visited the ELI (The Extreme Light Infrastructure ERIC) european laser center in Dolní Břežany. During their visit, they became acquainted with the unique laser technologies and scientific activities carried out at the center.

The program included a tour of the laser and experimental halls, accompanied by selected scientists who introduced guests to the most advanced experimental equipment and current research projects. The ambassadors received detailed information about ELI’s scientific objectives, its funding, and the importance of fundamental research for innovation development.

One of the key topics of discussion was the potential accession of additional countries to the ELI ERIC (Extreme Light Infrastructure ERIC) consortium. This step would allow individual states access to cutting-edge laser technologies and their use for unique scientific experiments. At the same time, new opportunities would open up for collaboration between research institutions and companies that could contribute to the supply of top-tier technological solutions.

The ELI laser center is part of the European research infrastructure and is among the most advanced facilities of its kind in the world. It focuses on the development and use of extreme laser technologies in a wide range of scientific disciplines.
