For the third year, ELI Beamlines will join the event Researchers´ Night and opens doors and laboratories to the public for this great European celebration of science. It will take place on September 27th, 2019.
This pan-European event traditionally involves observatories, planetariums, universities, as well as other departments and organizations across Europe. Scientists, engineers, educators and experts from many fields will show you exactly what it is they do. You can look forward to an evening full of experiences and knowledge with a variety of workshops, fun experiments, guided observations, and lectures for the public. The Night of Scientists is held annually on the last Friday in September in 200 cities in Europe, thanks to which you can look around behind the scenes.

The full program of the Researchers’ Night at ELI Beamlines can be found HERE (available only in Czech). A large part of the program will be held in Czech, but English-speaking visitors are also very welcome. You can enjoy the rich program and try many different activities to discover the beauty of laser physics: interactive exhibits, light projections of the physical simulations, a virtual reality etc. Moreover, a guided tour of ELI Beamlines laser centre in English will take place from 6.30 p.m. to 7.15 p.m., the registration form is available HERE. During this tour, you will be able to see ELI Beamlines high-power laser systems and receive a lot of information about ELI Beamlines technologies, research activities and a construction of the facility.
