In the area of more than 4000 m2 , visitors can expect interactive expositions of top workplaces of the Czech Academy of Sciences, universities, science centers and other institutions dealing with science in all its forms. The Science Fair introduces countless news and trivia from the world of natural, technical and social fields as well as humanities. The application of scientific results in practical life is presented by commercial companies which, with their enthusiasm for development and innovation, bring science to everyday life.
Science Fair does not, of course, neglect the accompanying program. In the course of three exhibition days, it is possible to listen to lectures of top experts and engage in debates with them, or acquire new skills at their workshops.
Visit us at the booth of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. You can try more than 20 activities to discover the beauty of modern physics. Using virtual reality, you will be able to visit the ATLAS detector at CERN in Geneva, or the most powerful lasers in the world and laboratories at ELI Beamlines and HiLASE. You will also see the paths of cosmic rays that fly all around us, try the laser maze game, or walk through the Nanoworld.
Moreover, you can visit the Career zone, the space where students, graduates and others interested in working in Czech and foreign science meet companies and institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
