On Monday August 25th, ELI Beamlines and HiLASE summer school was opened by the director of Institute of Physics, profesor Jan Řídký. Five day summer school is attedned by more than 100 students, post docs and junior researchers from many coutries. They have the opportunity to meet ELI and HiLASE special quests such as John Collier from Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, UK or Chris Batty and AL Erlandson from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory USA and many more top researchers from Germany, France, Russia, Romania, Japan. Friday program is occupied by reseachers from a sister project ELI Nuclear Physics, this project is located in Romania.
