ELI Beamlines took part in the DESY open doors day held on November 7, 2015, at the DESY campus in Hamburg, Germany.
The event counted with a record attendance of more than 18000 visitors and was organised in the mark of the Hamburg city event: Nacht des Wissens / Night of Knowledge.
During the event, the Virtual Reality System of ELI, developed by Jakub Grosz, belonged to the biggest attractions. For the presentation and organization of the ELI participation, the ELI employees Ms. Shirly Espinoza, Mr. Christopher Brooks and Mr. Spencer Jolly had the support of the group members of Professor Michael Rübhausen, University of Hamburg.
