At the end of March 2010 the Director of the Institute of Physics ASCR Jan Řídký and Karel Rohlena, Head of the Laser Plasma Department of the Institute of Physics ASCR, accompanied David Rath, Governor of the Central Bohemia Region, as members of a delegation travelling to Israel to present the ELI Project to the local scientific community.
