On Wednesday, 22 Fabruary 2012, a lecture on the projects realized by the Operational Program Education for Competitivness was held at Palacký University in Olomouc.
The scientific teams compiled within the projects “Research and Development of femtosecond Laser Systems and Advanced Optical Technologies” and “Research and Development of New Ways of Radiation Generation and Charged Particle production by Ultra-Intense Laser Fields” play an important role in building the scientific base of the ELI Beamlines project.
The lecture was given by two scientists from the mentioned project teams. Daniel Kramer and Daniele Margarone presented the main laser and optical technologies of the projects to students of the Faculty of Science of Palacký University and to workers from Joint Optical Laboratory of Palacký University and the Institute of Physics AS CR.
Event organizer Michael Vích from the project team sums up the yesterday lecture as follows: „I must say that the seminar at the Faculty of Science in Olomouc was really successful.
