On Tuesday, April 19, we welcomed Czech Minister of Education, Youth and Sport Mr. Petr Gazdík to ELI Beamlines facility.
Minister Gazdík had the opportunity to talk to the representatives of ELI research teams in the laser and experimental halls.
The head of the centre, Roman Hvězda, informed minister Gazdík about the history of the construction and the commissioning of unique research technologies and about current activities for research users. The tour was followed by a meeting, with the participation of ELI ERIC Director Allen Weeks, the one of the main topics was research cooperation with Czech and foreign universities, scientific institutions and companies.
