The Extreme Light Infrastructure Summer School (ELISS) is celebrating educating and training the next generation of scientists and researchers with the 10th Anniversary edition. This milestone event, to be held on 25-29 August 2025 in Dolní Břežany, Czech Republic, invites students from around the globe to join a unique experience in cutting-edge laser science and technology. ELISS is open to undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students, as well as early-career researchers.
Why Attend ELISS 2025?
The 5-day programme will offer the participants a balanced combination of extended tutorials on laser technology with overview lectures on laser-driven radiation sources and instruments based on them. In addition, participants will have an opportunity to obtain practical skills through various satellite activities based on their choice. Hands-on trainings, user application writing exercises, interactive laboratory tours or an ELI Science Olympiad will offer alternative and dynamic ways of engaging with ELI. Attendees will also have the opportunity to showcase their own research during the poster sessions with dedicated prizes.
