The Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) is pleased to announce the launch of the 6th ELI User Call, with submissions open until 25th April. Researchers from around the world are encouraged to submit proposals, which will be evaluated by an international peer-review panel based on scientific excellence. The Call supports a broad spectrum of experiments, utilising the advanced facilities at:
- ELI ALPS in Szeged, Hungary
- ELI Beamlines in Dolní Břežany, Czech Republic

Register through the ELI User Registry to gain access to the User Office System (UOS) for proposal submission. This enables a more streamlined experience for accessing information, training, and managing your proposal throughout its lifecycle. The planned experimental period for awarded Call 6 proposals is November 2025-May 2026.
Upcoming Calls
ELI announces bi-annual User Calls in Spring and Autumn. This pattern underscores the commitment to making the facilities available to a growing number of users. Accordingly, the 7th Call is expected to launch in September 2025.
ELI User Meeting 2025
The ELI User Meeting will be held on 18-20 June 2025 in Szeged, Hungary, hosted at the ELI ALPS Facility. This year’s agenda features Thematic Workshops on emerging technologies and instrumentation, dedicated sessions for User Experiment Exchange, Facility Tours, Networking Activities, and a Poster Session to highlight distinguished scientific work.
